The Weinberg at Wixon Valley: A Grand Hall You Will Remember For Forever

The chapel showcases white walls, arched ceilings, an arched window along the front of the ceremony, and black and white checkered floors that ties this chapel all together. Not to mention, they have a gallery balcony for wedding photographers to capture the first kiss from far up above for the dreamiest photos.

This venue does offer both indoor and outdoor ceremony options and bride and groom suites with plenty of natural light and space to get ready. The bridal suite is truly a show stopper and even has a stage with a mirror for those classic bridal getting ready portraits. This venue is nestled near and pond and has many, many locations for photo opportunities. The reception space is a massive state-of-the-art grand hall that has stunning chandeliers, spiral stair cases, and a stage for any live band to get the guests to dance the night away.

Outside, outdoor turf and a covered patio is the perfect setting for any cocktail hour and has two fire pits for those chilly nights in Texas. Check out a recent wedding I photographed below at The Weinberg at Wixon Valley in College Station.

Camp Hosea – A Timeless Bell-tower Chapel

This venue also has a vast amount of grounds and natural light indoors that allow multiple different Camp Hosea photos for bride and groom portraits. They also keep the grounds at this property well-kept and filled with pretty greenery.

This venue can host up to 350 guest guests, and has an indoor and outdoor reception space. For cocktail hour, the outdoor reception space has games, a covered patio, and string lights for those summer nights. The reception space is so unique in that is has a floor to ceiling wall of windows that lets in an enormous amount of light into the space with black ceilings – so unique!!

This venue has my favorite bridal suite of them all as it has a getting ready room and a separate (but attached) lounge room with built-in mini kitchen. Photographers love this idea as it keeps the getting ready space neat. This space also is flooded with natural light, fun classic wall paper, white couches, and a modern mirror for those getting ready photos. This bridal suite is truly the dreamiest I have seen yet. The grooms suite is in the chapel and also has a fun spiral stair case and a loft filled with games! This venue is one of a kind.

Deep In The Heart Farms: A Farmhouse For The Modern Couple

The chapel is decorated in white wood on the outside, while the inside is white with dark wood accents. It creates a pretty contrast for the modern and the rustic bride. The reception space is a elaborate grand hall farmhouse with white accents throughout. A covered patio outdoors allows for stunning cocktail hour during sunset in the rolling hills of the farm. Dark wood beams line the ceiling of the grand hall and pretty brick seating areas along entrance of the grand hall allow for mingling for those guests who want a break from the dance floor.

A grand stair case leads to the bridal suite that is filled with natural light. The space is elaborate and can accommodate those larger bridal parties. One end allows for hair and makeup while the other end has a bridal stage with a floor to ceiling mirror for the perfect bridal portrait. There is a grand seating area in the center of the bridal suite that is perfect for the bridal party. The grooms suite is accented with dark wood and houses a pool table, TV, mini fridge, and a shower.

The Gin at Hidalgo Falls: A Vintage Industrial Cotton Gin With a Modern Flare

The reception space is a large Cotton Gin that has lined industrial walls with brick accents. There is plenty of space that allows you to be creative with bringing in furniture pieces and other decor that brings something unique to your wedding. This venue can be suitable for the minimalist or be designed for the luxury. If you are looking for unique and a more affordable wedding venue, this is the venue for you as there is nothing else in the area like it!
